Obituary of Evelyn Riddell

RIDDELL, Evelyn: With great sadness to her family, Evelyn passed peacefully at Gilmore Lodge, Fort Erie on May 16, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Evelyn Riddell, beloved wife of the late Lyle (1994). Cherished mother of Ken (Karen) Riddell, Barbara (Frank) Madden, Dennis Riddell and Wendy (Ken) Trombley and the late Ruth (2001) and the late Richard (2007). Dear grandmother of Chuckie, David, Jessie, Danny, Jennifer, Felecia, Amber and Lyle. Sister of Robert Sims, Earl (Elda) Sims and Gord (Audrey) Sims and the late Chuck, Irene, Fred, Ed, Jean and Winston. Evelyn will be fondly remembered by her many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Ruth Sims. A sincere thanks to the staffs of Eastwood Manor and Gilmore Lodge for the exceptional care given to our mom. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road N. Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 19 from 1-3 pm and a service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will follow at 3 o’clock. Reception will follow in the family centre. Private interment at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Evelyn, donations to the Fort Erie S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
