Obituary of Richard "Rick" Gignac

GIGNAC, Richard (Rick) - (April 5, 1959-July 18, 2016) – So saddened by the loss of a beloved father and brother. Survived by daughters Deandre and Mattie, granddaughter Grace, his sisters Yolande, Denise (Jim Robertson), brother Denis, his many loving nieces and nephews, also the love of his life, Kelly. He was predeceased by his parents Henri and Fabianna Gignac and his sisters Madeliene (Maggie) and Muriel (Mitch). He was a mechanic by trade, and though he was not well, he would work on cars, if anyone was in need of repairs. Over the years, his disease took its toll on his body and mind, but for those who knew and loved him, want to remember the RICK from the old days. Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Rick’s family will receive friends at The Parish Community of St. Kevin, 303 Niagara St. Welland, on Thursday July 28th from 9:30-10 o’clock with a memorial mass to follow at 10 o’clock. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
