De FREITAS , Maria Alice (nee Simoes) Passed away on Monday June 6, 2016 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Duarte for 53 years. Dear mother of Arthur (Rosa) and Carlos (Debbie). Cherished grandma of Jessica, Stephanie, Brendon and Jennifer. Loving sister of Jose Simoes. Predeceased by her parents Francisco and Luzia Simoes. Maria was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and she will be sadly missed. Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway have been entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 6 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. George’s Catholic Church, Crystal Beach, on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Rite of Committal will follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
