Obituary of Cameron (Cam) David Schell

SCHELL, Cameron (Cam) David -It is with absolute broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Cam, on April 26, 2016 at 2:35 PM. His last days were spent being surrounded by family and very close friends who cared for him with love and compassion. Cam was born in Hamilton on February 24, 1962. He leaves his wife Jane to mourn his passing, but to also celebrate his life knowing that he is now pain-free and in the presence of our Savior. He also leaves behind his children: Chuck Schell, Katie Schell (Aaron Major), Joel Weldon (Kyleen), Ian Weldon (Katelynn) & David Weldon (Brittany) and one beautiful grandson Johnny, who added so much joy and laughter to his life. Cam has many children from other parents who chose to call him Dad, Papa and Papa bear. He was loved by so many. Cam also leaves behind his older brother Charlie Schell and sister Cathy Rolph (Wayne), and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Miller, his mother Barbara, and his father Melbourne. Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway, entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday (today) from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Cam’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow at McAffee Cemetery. A reception will follow back at the funeral home. Cam lived his life following the example set out by Jesus, of how to love others. Cam loved others with such incredible compassion that he has left a legacy of love for all of us to follow. If desired a donation can be made to the Salvation Army Food Bank in Fort Erie, in lieu of flowers. We have so much appreciation and thanks for Dr. Scher, Alex and Pat. You are all such amazing caring people. You have blessed all of us with your care and concern for Cam.
