Wayne Leslie Marazzo May 4, 1964 – April 22, 2016 It is with shattered hearts we announce Wayne’s passing at Greater Niagara General Hospital with his wife and children by his side on April 22, 2016. Predeceased by his mother, Marion Lavinsky Deriviere and his grandparents Orville and Luella Haskill, Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Melinda, children Alex (Sarah), Caterina and Brittany as well as grandson Damian. Also surviving are Wayne’s uncle Roy Deriviere (Joanne), sisters Cheryl Crawford and Kelly Haskill as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Wayne grew up in Fort Erie and Niagara Falls and at an early age developed a passion for music. As a self-taught musician and vocalist, he played keyboards, drums and guitar and was a member of numerous bands over the years eventually owning and operating a DJ and Karaoke Entertainment business. He worked many years as a fabricator/welder with Allied Marine and also achieved the distinction of becoming an Apprentice Chef. The birth of his children however remained his proudest moments. He was a fierce defender of his family and loved them with his whole being. He was kind and generous, often opening our home to those in need. He was strong, compassionate and refused to ever give up, facing and accepting his challenges with grace, dignity and determination.
