Obituary of Joanne Muraca

MURACA, Joanne (nee Teesdale) - Peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at the age of 48 years. Joanne Muraca, beloved mother to Abbey Muraca. Cherished daughter of Gloria Teesdale (the late Jim, 2008). Dear sister to Bill Teesdale. Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim Muraca. Loving granddaughter of Bill Gibbs (the late Frances “Sally”, 2012) and the late John and Isabelle Teesdale. Joanne is the niece to John and Janice Teesdale, cousin to Philip, Sara and David Teesdale and best friend of Patti Brice. The family wishes to thank Joanne’s many friends, family and care givers for all their compassion, support and caring in the last year and a half. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road N., Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7-9 o’clock. A service to pay tribute to Joanne’s life will be held in the Williams Chapel on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. In memory of Joanne, those who wish may make a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society.
