Obituary of George Marlin Royce "Roy" Larocque

LAROCQUE, George Marlin Royce “Roy” – Surrounded by his loving family Roy passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Monday January 18, 2016 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Diane (2012). Cherished father of Michael (Val), David, Darryl, Michele (Gary) and Margie Larocque. Loving grandfather of Darren (Kelly), Jackie (Tim), Jocelyn, Jodi, Cara, Noah and the late Lucas. He will be sadly missed by his 8 great-grandchildren. Son-in-law of Irene (Trider-Lotina) Hayhurst. Survived by many brothers and 1 sister and predeceased by 1 sister. Roy drove the school bus for many years and worked at the Fort Erie Racetrack and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Scher and the staff of Palliative Care at Douglas Memorial Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway. Cremation has taken place. Roy’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday January 23rd from 11-12 o’clock followed by a service in the chapel.
