EADE, Douglas November 27/47 – April 28/13
Surrounded by his family, Douglas passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. Best friend and loving husband of Jan Christine (nee Halverson). 25 wonderful years of marriage! Proud father of Tracy. Loving grandfather of Braydon. Beloved father-in-law of Colin Bodley. He will be greatly missed by Jennifer Athoe and Landen. Much loved uncle to Brad, Laura Lynn, Melanie, Ryan, Craig, Celine, Andrew and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Lois and Alfred Eade, niece Krystin Nagel, sister Mary Beth Rouse, sister-in-law Debra Eade. Survived by sister Pat (Harold) Nagel, brothers Butch (Marilyn) and Ken (Donna) Eade. Brother-in-law Norm Rouse. Predeceased by his mother and father-in-law Myrtle and Jack Halverson, sister-in-law Sharon Lea, brother-in-law Maurice Biggins. Survived by sisters-in-law Teresa (Jim) Robins, Cindy (John) Olson, Nancy (Ray) Sanderson, brothers-in-law Gerald Lea, Charlie (Linda) Biggins and Bill (Lisa) Biggins and nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by Marilyn and Pat Dunn and Marilyn and Waldo Robley. Doug enjoyed 14 years of retirement from Canada Post after 33½ years of employment. A special thank you to Pastor Stefanik for all his support and prayers and all the doctors and nurses at Greater Niagara General and Douglas Memorial Hospitals.
