Obituary of Leoda Mae Winger
WINGER, Leoda Mae – (November 20, 1920-January 6, 2016) Today we say “We love you” and “until we meet again” to our mother, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Roy and Laurena Cline, husband Donald Adam Winger, son Donald Adam Jr., siblings Dorothy Bossert, Shirley Eberly, Arthur, Arnold, Earl and Clarence Cline as well as a granddaughter Wendelyn Sider and a very good friend Dorothy Magee. Her surviving children are Sandra Mae Sider (Raymond) their 3 daughters, and Dwight Donald (Cynthia) and their 4 daughters and 1 son and many great-grandchildren. Her wonderful alto voice has joined the heavenly choir. In her better days she loved having ‘good news clubs’ in her home, singing, playing guitar, accordion and mouth organ. Making kitchen hand towels became her hobby to earn extra cash to donate to different charitable projects. Much appreciation to Gilmore Lodge for their loving care and to family and friends who faithfully visited her.
Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday January 11th, 2016 from 10-11 o’clock followed by a service in the funeral home chapel. A reception will take place followed by interment at Bertie BIC Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Camp Kahquah.
