Obituary of Pearl Owens

OWENS, Pearl- Peacefully, with her family by her side, Pearl Owens at the age of 79, succumbed to her battle with pancreatic cancer. Her husband and best friend Brian (Bill) of 60 years was as always, by her side. Pearl joins her daughters Susan (1990) and Cindy (2007) . She is survived by her daughter Sherry (Bill ) and her only son Billy (Debbie) and 5 grandchildren Kayse, Brandon, Michael, Konnor and Timmy. She is survived by her brothers Roy and Frank. Pearl received incredible care at the Douglas Memorial Hospital with Dr. Kim Scher. Special thanks to Mel, Pat, Alex , Mugs, Dr. Wasserman and the Walker Family Cancer Clinic. Pearl loved her family, antiquing, Panama City, Batchawana, and her trips to the casino. Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Pearl's family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11 am. Interment to follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. Please, in lieu of flowers, a donation to Douglas Memorial Hospital Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.
