My dear friend Robert (Tola). Words cannot express the loss I feel knowing I will never see your smile again. You could always put a smile on my face no matter what kind of a mood I was in . I dont think i ever called you Robert always Tola because thats what everyone on Bobcaygeon called you and i liked it thought it suited you.Every time I saw you it was a giant bear hug so tight I could barely breathe and a kiss , never calling me Scota it was always Scochi or just cochi lol. Your amazing smile and gentle soul will always be in my heart and the memories we made will never be forgotten. Your spirit will live on in your children and your loved ones. Bobcaygeon will never be the same and i know a peice of you will always be here with us and this town.My thoughts and prayers are with your family always. To Rob’s wife, children, family & friends; I am so very sorry for your heart breaking loss. Rob was an old friend from high school and while I have only seen him a handful of times in the last few years, each one of those times left me laughing and smiling. He definitely had a way about him and he still had all of his boyish charm. He proudly spoke of all of his children each time I saw him and wanted to show their pictures and excitedly mentioned his wedding. His love for his family was very evident…and he had always been that way. I remember going to his grandparents delicatessen after school he would blush when his grandma pinched his cheeks and called him Bubcha but he also had the biggest grin. He once said his brother was ‘handsome, like me’ and his sister was his best friend, his loyalty to his family and his friends was never questioned. It has taken me awhile to register that you are really gone Rob. I’ll never forget you, thank you for every laugh and every crazy story and for all the rib cracking hugs when they were needed most. You will be missed by so many, you were one of a kind … My deepest condolences to all who loved Rob.

I know that you would have wanted me to…… I am sorry to hear of the loss of Rob. This is what I remember. Barbara, your son always wanted to please you. He loved you more than words could ever express. Natasha, your brother always looked up to you. He always referred to you as his smart beautiful sister and loved you with his entire heart. Thomas, your brother never wanted to admit that you were slightly more handsome than he was. He was always looking out for you. Brody, your father loved you so much. Rob loved his family more than words could ever express. He was incredibly loyal to his friends. I am remembering the good times. Give Rusty a big hello pat up there for me! Oh Tola, I miss you so much!! Our paths would cross maybe once a year and we would always pick up right where we left off! A massive hug and always stories that would burn late into the night.
