So sorry to learn of Helen's passing on returning home last night. I certainly would have been with you at the service.
We were neighbors for most of the years our children were growing up. I remember Helen as a gentle, very compassionate person, always there in times of need. After you moved I was able to keep in contact through my twice yearly appointments at Dr. Teal's office until she retired.
Judging by her apparent good health and positive outlook at the time I would have thought - and wished - she would have enjoyed many more years of active retirement to enjoy her family and do the things that had meaning for her than turned out to be the case.
So sorry for your loss. Rest assured myself, my family and many, many others remember her well. May she rest in peace.

Sending deepest sympathy to you. I was Jennifer's teacher at Bowen Road School. My daughter, Lisa, played baseball with Jennifer as well. I would often see Helen out and about over the years and we would have a lovely chat. I remember her as a lovely and soft spoken lady. I am sure you will all have treasured memories of her.

Jerry: Mom (Verna) was so saddened to hear of Helen's passing - you were both wonderful neighbours to our parents and Mum talks about Helen all the time and about what a wonderful caring person she was - she will truly be missed.
