Obituary of Debbie Carlson

Carlson : Debbie Debbie’s battle with cancer ended peacefully surrounded by her family with her passing at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 25th, 2015 at the age of 53. Best friend and wife of Keith. Loving and cherished mother of Keith Jr. and Kaitlin. Beloved daughter of Marlene and the Late John Willick and daughter in law of the late Joan and Gord Rubel. She will forever be remembered by her sisters Wendy (Dale) Schaeffer and Glenda (Murray) Potts. Sadly missed by her brothers-in-law Jim (Sandra) and Todd (Barb) and her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and wonderful friends. The family express their heartfelt appreciation to Elizabeth her home care nurse and to Dr. Scher, Dr. Dargavel and the wonderful team of professionals at Douglas Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit who provided such comfort and care. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 29th from 2-4 & 6-9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 am from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Snyder. A reception will follow. If so desired, donations to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
