Obituary of Bastiana "Jeanne" Hansman

HANSMAN, Bastiana W. “Jeanne” – Passed away peacefully on Monday April 13, 2015 at Bella Senior Care Residence at the age of 86. Beloved wife of George for 66 years. Dear mother of George Johan (Barb) and Ingrid Felso (Alex). Cherished Oma of Jordan, George “Stan” and Alexandria. Jeanne was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada with George in 1952. During her lifetime she travelled and lived in many different countries appreciating the world but, she was a proud Canadian. Upon retirement Jeanne and George happily settled in Stevensville. Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Cremation has taken place. Jeanne’s family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society for Research.
