Obituary of Ann Reimer

REIMER, Ann- On Sunday, January 11th, 2015, Ann passed away in the loving embrace of her 3 children, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Phillip (2012), loving mother of Glenn of Cold Lake, AB, Eunice (John) Hawdon of Richards Landing, ON, and Fred of Mississauga, ON, cherished grandmother of Amanda and Katelin. Sister to Walter, Bill, Patricia, Ben and Maurice, and late sisters, Lorraine, Mary, Evelyn, and Sophie. Ann was authentic, faithful and dedicated to the Lord and family. Meals she prepared had to be homemade, from the bread to the dessert. She gave her all selflessly to others. Happiest in the final years by sharing a memorized bible verse or creating a poem about those around her, making a silly joke and singing a song inspired by love. She reflected God's strength to all those around her regarding the loss of her lifetime love of 60 years. She lived on her own terms, not afraid to speak her mind and not afraid to pull a stranger into a long loving hug and hold their hand. She worked hard, celebrated the simple things and laughed at the silly things and was never caught up in this world of distractions. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 on Thursday January 15th, at Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd, North, Ridgeway, Ontario. Funeral will following the chapel at 1 pm. Internment Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. In memory of Ann those who wish may donate to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Samaritan’s Purse.
