Obituary of Hilda Violet Taggart

TAGGART, Hilda Violet (November 11, 1923-November 11, 2014) - Today we have lost a beautiful soul and heaven has gained another angel. It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce Hilda Violet Taggart passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. She leaves behind wonderful memories for her only surviving daughter Ida (Edward) Overholt and surviving son-in-law Norman Shoup. Also her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ida and Roland Horton, her loving husband of 37 years Clarence Taggart, her sons George, Clarence Jr., and Donald Taggart, her granddaughter Diane (Tammy) Overholt and grandson David Lessard. She will now be reunited with her daughter Hazel Shoup who recently passed away on April 27, 2014. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway. At Hilda’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers the family has asked everyone to make a memorial donation to the Parkinson Society of Canada.
