Obituary of William "Bill" Carrick

William "Bill" Carrick - born April 28, 1912, died on Monday November 3, 2014 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie at the proud age of 102. Bill was predeceased by his wife Ann in 1984. Bill was a longtime employee and familiar face at Don Dean's Chevrolet Oldsmobile and then Dave Lyons Chevrolet Oldsmobile. A very fitting occupation considering Bill's love of cars. Bill will be greatly missed by his co-worker and friend Wilson Smirle. Also, lovingly remembered and forever missed by neighbours Darren, Tracy, Liam and Fergus Kearns and family friends Ray and Judi Van Osch. A special thank you to Dr. Scher and the Nursing and support staff at the Douglas Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care of and attention to Bill during his stay. At Bill's request, cremation has occurred and interment to take place.
