Obituary of John "Jack" Hibbard

HIBBARD, John (Jack) (1928-2014) – Peacefully with family by his side at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Sunday October 26th at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn. Dear father of Larry (Gloria), Roy (Joanne), Nancy, David (Carrie), Cindy Hansen (Rick), the late Geraldine and the late Robert. Cherished grandfather of Chastity, Carol, Matthew, Julie, Shauna, Erika and the late Brandon. Great-grandfather of 15 and great-great grandfather of 1. Special thanks to the staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital for their care and to Dr. Gleeson. Cremation has taken place. Jack’s family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd., North, Ridgeway, on Thursday October 30th from 7-9 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Niagara or the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Niagara Chapter.
