Obituary of Gerald "Jake" Teal

TEAL, Gerald V. “Jake” - On Thursday October 9th, 2014, Jake peacefully passed away, at Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 75 years, with his daughters by his side, only hours after his beloved wife Jacqueline, of 51 years passed away. He is survived by his loving children Micheal (Karen), Wendy (Gary) and Laurie (Rene), his grandchildren Ryan, Cheryl, Lily, Ivy and Darwin. Also survived by his siblings Betty and Donald and predeceased by his sister Shirley. Jake will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 12th from 11-2 p.m. A service will follow in the Williams Chapel at 2 o’clock. In memory of Jake those who wish may donate to the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to Dr. Scher, Pat Eberly and to the Palliative Team at DMH for their exceptional care and compassion, as well as Roseanne for moving mountains.
