Obituary of Lena Chapman

CHAPMAN, Lena (nee Berry) - Passed away very peacefully with her son Jack and daughter in law Marlene by her side on September 12th, 2014 in her 103rd year at Gilmore Lodge, Fort Erie. Predeceased by her husband Robert Stanley Chapman (born in Newmarket), son Stanley Robert, great grandson Justin, and great-great grandson William Chapman, Survived by son Jack Chapman (Marlene) of Ridgeway. Grandmother of Janet (Mike) Salazar, California, Robert (Denise) Chapman, Brampton, Mark (Stephanie) Chapman, Pennsylvania, John (Diane) Chapman, Mississauga and Also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Lena had a great sense of humor, she was a very happy person, joyful and positive spirit who enjoyed and cherished everyone she met and treated them as family. A big thanks goes to the Nurses and staff on all shifts for their dedication, love, and tender Kindness to Lena all through her stay and mostly at the end of her life. Thanks for the Honor Guard at Gilmore Lodge it was so meaningful and Lena would have got a kick out of it. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway, Ontario entrusted with arrangements. Family will receive friends on Saturday September 20th from 11-1 pm. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow in the Williams Family Centre. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make a memorial donation to the CNIB.
