Obituary of Cecil Cooke

COOKE, Cecil A. - passed away with family at his side at Welland Hospital, on July 13, 2014 at the age of 69. Loving husband of Betty for 37 years. Cherished step-father of Cindy Pearson (Steve Thomson), John O’Neil (Darlene) and Shelley Howard (Wayne Reilly). Beloved grandfather of Eric Pearson and Vanessa and Krista O’Neil. Dear brother of Christine Mattice and Bruce Cooke. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Elizabeth Cooke, his brothers William and Murray Cooke and his sister Hazel Hammell. Cecil was a long-time employee of the Niagara Region as the Safety Training Officer and made many friends around the region during his time there. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 17th from 11:30-1:30. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 in the Williams Chapel. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Wainfleet. Donations in lieu of flowers would be preferred to Fort Erie Meals on Wheels (www.mealsonwheelsforterie.ca).
