I was so saddened to hear of Lee 's passing. I am one of her nurse's and was away during this time. I spoke with Lee on the phone last Sunday while still in hospital and we wished each other well and that we would see each other when I returned from vacation; I looked forward to coming back to work and sharing some stories with her. She and I would chat quite often and she had a special place in my heart, and I considered her a friend.
To Lee's family and friends, those I knew, and those I didn't have the opportunity to meet....I feel blessed to have gotten to know this strong, kind, and oh so feisty woman!! I think I can speak for the staff at MPL and tell you that she will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss.
