Obituary of Norbert Simms

SIMMS, Norbert Joseph – Passed away suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday April 15th, 2014. He was in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Donna Simms for 56 years. Loving father of Joanne Simms Moore and Stephen Simms. Cherished grandfather of Jacob, Calvin, Maxwell and Curtis. Dear brother of Ronald Simms (Tootsie). Born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia Norbie was blessed and privileged with a long retirement as an electrician from General Motors and spent his time enjoying his grandchildren, his horse races and the Toronto Blue Jays. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Cremation will be followed by a memorial mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 3718 Netherby Road, Snyder on Saturday April 26th at 2 o’clock. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery.
