Obituary of Lillian Clifton

CLIFTON, Lillian Dorothy (nee Keates) – Peacefully on Thursday March 6th 2014, at the age of 88, with her daughters by her side at Maple Park Lodge surrounded by her books and craftworks. Beloved wife of the late Bill (2004) for 58 years. Cherished mother of Victoria Ann Bryan (David), Joanne Caroline Clifton and Christine Elizabeth Savage (late Wayne-2013). Loving grandmother of Michael Clifton Grant, Jeffrey Clifton Grant, Jesse (Steph) Savage and Sarah Savage. Dear great-grandmother to Riley Danger Grant, Lennon Harrison Savage and Oliver Aiden Savage. Predeceased by her parents Lily Ann and Percy William and by her siblings Alfred and Lesley Howarth and Al and Bill Keates. A kind and caring lady, Lillian’s memory will live on through her family in many ways. Being proficient in craftwork, Lillian has left us many treasured keepsakes. She will also be fondly remembered as the director of the Front Row Centre Performances at Black Creek Leisure Homes. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 13th from 1 pm until service time at 2 o’clock in the Williams Chapel. Afternoon tea will follow. The family requests that donations be made to the War Amps in lieu of flowers which was a charity that she and Bill supported their entire lives.
