Alvin spun a lot of magic amongst those who knew and loved him. I always enjoyed our chats at family events. He was very talented in so many ways. He created a couple of coasters for my mother. They are beautiful and sit in proud display. His craftsmanship was appreciated far and wide.
The big wheel keeps on turning. He will be missed.

Connie and Kelly (and families),
It's hard to say goodbye. We are never really ready for that but know your father lives on inside of you and you carry his legacy forward as you already have in the simple every day ways of how he lived and loved. The ripple effects of his life reverberate wide and far over time. This is the outcome of a life well lived.

I remember Alvin sitting at the back of the church, ready to welcome us, to offer assistance, to run for anything that was needed. I remember a quiet man whose spirit spoke volumes. Whenever I think of Alvin, I smile. Our sincere condolences to Pastor Barbara Anne, to Alvin's family, and all who loved him. Ben & Joan De Jode.
