We regret to announce the death of John Davis at the age of 70 years, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing. John was an avid hockey fan rooting for the Montreal Canadians. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races.  He enjoyed gardening and lawn work.
He is survived by his loving wife Betty (nee Putman) of Moonbeam; two daughters: Naomi Davis (Ken Dixon) of Grimsby and
 Gwen Young of Vegreville, AB; four grandchildren: Meaghan Brown (John), Michelle Davis-Oliveira, Stephanie Davis, Tracy Lunn;
7 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Dawson, Charlotte, Peyton, Tristan, Abel, Emma;and his siblings: Fred Davis, Paula Paulitzki, 
Sharon Hamm, Vera Brown, Vivian Maves, Ed Davis, Jim Davis, Gary Davis, Doris Hebbourn, and Robert Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his loyal companion Dolce.  He was predeceased by his parents: John and Dorothy, and a brother, Mark.
A celebration of life for John will be held at a later date.  The family would greatly appreciate donations to Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
