My condolences to the Haffey family. I had the pleasure of working with Jack at LCBO Head Office for many years and he always brightened up my day with his engaging smile and great sense of humour.
He was a true gentleman and I am glad I had the opportunity to know him and work with him.

Dear Family of Jack Haffey,
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jack Haffey. Jack was a friend and colleague who I had the pleasure of knowing for many decades. We worked on the same floor of the Toronto Star Building, and I always enjoyed having coffee with him and chatting about various topics. He was a kind-hearted gentleman, who treated everyone with respect and kindness. His sense of humour and love for laughter brought joy to our conversations.
Jack was not only a talented Manager of Document Services for the LCBO, but also a kind and gentle soul, who always took the time to connect with everyone. He was a great conversationalist, enjoyed a good joke, and had a contagious laugh that could brighten anyone’s day.
Although it has been many years since I last saw Jack, his memory has stayed with me, and I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was a good person who touched the lives of those around him and will be deeply missed. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May Jack rest in peace, and his legacy continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

I have many fond memories of Jack from my childhood, like a fun road trip to Ottawa with him and my mom, or when he once helped me crank call a boy I liked (because he had a great sense of humour). The photo I’ve included with this post is of Jack at my nephew Nathan’s baptism where he became his godfather.
This is such sad news to lose him suddenly. I will always remember him as a kind and hilarious man ❤️ See you on the other side.

Hello,
I was sad to hear of the passing of Jack Haffey. He was a colleague of mine at LCBO for many many years. Those were the golden years of LCBO. He had a special quality that made everyone around him feel included and important. He was also extremely funny. I remember how he always signed his name:
Jack 1/2E! At his retirement party we hoisted his namesake Leafs jersey to the rafters. Everyone loved it and Jack was touched. btw- He did tolerate Habs fans well!
I wanted to attend the service but it is too far for me to travel. Please give my condolences to the family and friends and may they know I have them in my prayers.
PS If someone wants to read this note at the service please go ahead.
Many thanks, and god bless.

Aww! Isn't he cute? I'm not sure how old he is in this photo. Maybe 14. Just adorable.

I met Jack over 50 years ago. He has always been a great friend. He supported me through some of the lowest points in my life and shared many of my joyous times. We had many conversations about what was going on in each other’s lives and our plans for the future. We haven’t seen each other since he moved out of the GTA, but he was always just a phone call or email away. It’s going to be hard to accept that he’s no longer here. Jack loved to travel and now he has started his most incredible journey. Godspeed, Jack. You will be missed.

Two old Irish friends at the Giants Causeway of Ireland, in 2005. The McGee's will miss our dear and wonderful friend, may you rest in peace. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
