January 24th, 2021 – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslee, who passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Welland Hospital with her loving husband and sons by her sided. Leslee fought cancer for over 30 years with unwavering strength grace and dignity. Leslee is survived by her dedicated husband Joe of 50 years.
Survived by her sons and wives Todd & Heather, Ryan & Karena and Mark & Kristal. Nothing gave Leslee more joy than her beloved seven grandchildren, Harrison, Nolan & Sloane, Caleb & Noah and Remington & Maksim. Sisters Nancy (Fred) Haaf and Heather (Bob) Bouvier, along with brothers in law and wives Bud and Donna Fazekas, Grant and Terri Fazekas and Dan Fazekas. As well as 1 niece and 7 nephews. Also survived by mother in law Marjorie Fazekas. Leslee’s adored companion Riley will miss her greatly. Predeceased by her parents Merv and Bertha Knisley and father-in-law Joe Fazekas.
Leslee’s last wishes were for cremation and a private service to take place at a later date. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Welland and St. Catharines hospital, Dr. Che and Dr. Janice Giesbrecht. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Services. For anyone that knew Leslee, they knew her love of animals and how she passed that love down to her grandchildren.
