"A Nail In a Sure Place"...These are the words that I remember Berenice Sauer saying to me during a Ladies Class at Golden Harvest Church many years ago. As I was going through a particularly bad time spiritually it was these words that Berenice shared with the group that made such an impact on me. Jesus, she said has always been that 'Nail", the thread of Hope to see you through any trial and it was those words that helped me to go on through the trials of that particular time. They have haunted me every time deep troubles come and comfort me because there are always 'nails in a sure place' to help us get through. It could be our church, pastor, friends, children, simple everyday lessons that whisper, "I am here. You are not alone. I love you." that help you to move forward. Berenice gave me that hope with those encouraging words. I will be forever grateful to her insight and wisdom. Trouble will come but Christ is there for US through his faithful servants. Servants like Berenice who helped a young, despondent mother stand firm, holding tenaciously on by the Nail In a Sure Place, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
