Obituary of Barbara Matthews

MATTHEWS, Barbara Ann – On Wednesday September 11th 2013, Barbara peacefully passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 76 years. Predeceased by husband Bruce, survived by children Brenda (John) Whillier, Karen (Ron) Kieffer, Dan (Diane), Greg (Jeannie) and Kevin (Margaret) grandchildren Matt (Katie), Laura, Cindy, Zack (Sarah), Jessica (George), Marisa (Michael), Katie, Tyler and great grandchildren Hailey, Kaylee, Brynn and Aubrie. Also survived by brother Ken (Rita) Thomson and sister in law Joan and the late Robert. Barbara will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and many friends at Golden Nugget Bingo and the Bertie Boat Club. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road N. Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11-1 and a service to celebrate Barbara’s life will follow in the chapel at 1 o’clock. In memory of Barbara, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
