Obituary of Marjorie Morningstar

MORNINGSTAR, Marjorie Joan (nee Stortz) - Born on December 31st, 1928 in Welland and passed away January 2nd, 2014 at Welland Hospital at the age of 85 years. Marjorie is predeceased by her husband Russ Claude Morningstar (1993) and her son John (Jackie) Ross (1969). Survived by her loving children, James (Karen) Morningstar, Joanne (Doug) O’Neil, Jane (Ed) Dolinski, Donna (Dave) Taylor, Deborah (Lyndon) Smith and Mary (Ed) Kisac. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sister of Dorothy Nagy, Alvin (Edith) Stortz and sister-in-law to Larry (Willo) Morningstar and Vernice Stortz. Also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Basil J. (1980) & Florence J. (1971) (Teskey) Stortz and by her siblings Frank, Mary, Orville, Rita, Wilfrid, Edwin and Basil. A memorial service will be held on April 26th at St. Joseph’s Church, Snyder at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow. Memorial Donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Cemetery Fund.
