Obituary of Violet Dorothy BURRIDGE

BURRIDGE, Violet Dorothy nee Hampel At Douglas Memorial Hospital on Friday November 16, 2012 in her 87th year. Violet Burridge, beloved wife of the late John Howard(Bundy) 2008. Much loved mother of Scott (Becky), Dana McPhee, Bette Aitken, Garrett (Linda), Mark (Darlene), Derek (Sylvie), Joel (Maria) and Randy (Jill). Sister of Harold (Lorraine) Hampel. Also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Violet was a lifetime member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and a dedicated Registered Nurse with over 30 years of service at Douglas Memorial Hospital. Visitation will take place at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 245 Prospect Pt. Road, Ridgeway on Tuesday, November 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Lutheran (Beaches) Cemetery. Memorial donations would be appreciated to St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Home, Ridgeway.
