It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alvin Leroy Learn on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the age of 78. Loving husband of Judy for 49 years. Cherished Dad of Melody (Philip) Screen, Brenda (John) Docker and Brian (Miya) Learn. Proud and loving Papa of Jordan, Aaron, Rylan, Jeremy, Asher and Koji. Fondly remembered by his brother (chauffeur and sidekick), Robert (Linda) Learn and sister-in-law, Sandra Wood. Predeceased by his brother Francis (Evelyn) Learn and his parents Edgar and Ruth Learn. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with many of Al’s accomplishments, he was the proud owner of Climenhaga’s Garage for over 40 years, which served as a popular stop for his many friends at morning and afternoon coffee breaks, which continued at his home after retirement. Al was very active in his community and a dedicated Station 4 firefighter for over 25 years. He had a passion for woodworking and will be remembered for his many funny one liners and creative nicknames for his friends!! A special thanks to Dr. Che and the nurses at the Niagara Falls Dialysis unit for their care and concern.
