Obituary of Joe CANGIANIELLO

CANGIANIELLO, Joe Passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 3rd 2013 in his 88th year with his daughter Filomena and adored granddaughter Valerie by his side. Beloved husband of the late Italia Vorraro (1997). Dear father of Aniello and his wife Carmina in Spain, Filomena of Fort Erie and Tony and his wife Kathy of Buffalo, New York. Dear uncle to Anna Maria Ferraiuolo, Frank Auricchio and Carmine Boccia. Grandpa to Valerie, Vanessa, Stephanie, Joe, Anthony and Thalia. Great-Grandpa to Maddie, Angelina, Jackson and Brooke. Also sadly missed by nieces, nephews and many friends in Canada and Italy. Special thank you to Dr. Che, Judy, nurses and staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital, all the paramed team and home care workers over the years. Friends and family will be received at the Williams Funeral Home, 722 Ridge Road North, Ridgeway on Wednesday, February 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. George's Catholic Church, 56 Ridgeway Road, Crystal Beach Thursday, February 7th at 11 a.m. The Rite of Committal with Interment at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
