Obituary of Florence Chambers

Chambers, Florence On January 25, 2019 at the Gilmore Lodge, Florence passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 94 . Loving wife of the late Osmond William. Dear mother of Sylvia (Fred) Ruch, Jean (Mark) Duguay, Allan (Margaret) Chambers, Carol (Charles) Keast, Larry (Patti) Chambers and Don (Lori) Chambers. Florence deeply loved and was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and leaves them with wonderful memories. She leaves behind a large extended family and many cherished friends. Predeceased by her parents George and Ada Thomas, her siblings and great grandson William D’Amelio Florence and Osmond who were married over 70 years were long time members of First United Church at Sherkston, where Florence faithfully served with the UCW. Together they volunteered with many organizations, most recently 20 years with Meals on Wheels. Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements where the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday January 28th from 5-8 pm and at First United Church 5244 Hwy #3 on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the service to celebrate her Life at 11 o’clock. If making donations in lieu of flowers, the family hope you will consider the March of Dimes or First United Church Sherkston.
