Obituary of Lois Remington

REMINGTON, Lois Margaret Lois passed away peacefully on January 24, 2019, in her 79th year, surrounded by the love of her family. Predeceased by Lee, her beloved husband of 54 years. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Tessy) and Wendy Jagiello (Chuck), proud grandmother of Tristan. dear sister of Irene Cole (Evan), Elizabeth Mastrangelo (Armando) and sister-in-law of Wayne Remington (Linda). She will be missed by her many cherished nieces and nephews. Lois was always busy with her many sewing and woodworking projects. She enjoyed camping, canoeing, and travelling across the country and across the world. She loved a good game of bridge or cribbage with her card groups, and was an active member of the Beachcombers since moving to Ridgeway a decade ago. The Remington Family will receive close friends and family at All Saints’ Anglican Church in Ridgeway on Wednesday, January 30 from 10 am - 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm. Interment to follow at a later date. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr K Habdank, Dr K Scher, Alex and Pat and all the caring nurses and PSWs who supported her care in the home, and the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of Douglas Memorial Hospital. If so desired, donations can be made to All Saints’ Anglican Church Ridgeway, St. Paul’s Anglican Church Fort Erie, or the Palliative Care Unit at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie.
