Obituary of Rose Jones

It is with great sadness that the family of Rose Jones announces her passing on December 30, 2018 at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer. She had many interests including knitting, needlepoint and the arts. She enjoyed listening to Christmas music, drinking coffee by the water and spending time with her grandkids. Born in Michael’s Harbour Newfoundland in 1954, Rose moved to the Niagara Region in the late 70’s with her son Andrew and most of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Andrew (Ha), daughter Tiffany (Michael), and her 5 grandchildren Syrenity, Lily, Noah, Ronin and Faith. She will also be fondly remembered by her siblings Ches (Cathy), Kelly, Tony, Larry(Judy), Roger, Michael, Shirley. Rose was predeceased by her brother Shawn. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 7 at 11:00 am in Williams Funeral Services at 722 Ridge Road North in Ridgeway. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery at Thompson Road in Fort Erie. A Celebration of Life in honour of Rose will be held in the dining room of the Chippawa House at 3876 Main Street in Niagara Falls (Chippawa). Food and beverage will be served at 2:00pm. Memorial donations in memory of Rose may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
