Obituary of William Sherk

SHERK, William George – Went home to Heaven on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the age of 84. Survived by his wife of 25 years Lenora. Predeceased by his first wife (1992) Betty. Loving father and step-father to Susan (Jim), Rick (Judi), Randy (Tracy), Steve (Lisa), Shari (Rich), Richard (Janet), John (Heather) and Gloria (Clark). Proud grandfather to 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also missed by his sister Betty McCulloch. Bill was a lifelong Maple Leafs fan and loved the Blue Jays. In early years, he lived and worked on the family farm. His biggest loves of his life were his God, singing and playing gospel music with family, and being at home with family and friends. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, November 29th from 11-1pm at Trinity Life Church followed by a funeral service at 1pm. Interment to follow in the churchyard. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.’
