Obituary of Edward Everett
EVERETT, Edward Emerson – Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 in his 83rd year. Dear son of the late Leonard and Violet Everett. Dear brother of LeRoy Everett (Louise), Bruce Everett (Norma), Olive Lightheart (late Milton), Earl Everett (Maureen), Elaine Winger (Wayne), Edith Goulding (John); brother-in-law, Dale White; and sister-in-laws, Eldora Everett and Helen Everett. Predeceased by his brothers, Victor “Tic” and Leslie “Chuck; and loving sister, Carol Ann White.
Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his cousins and his caring “family and friends” of Community Living Fort Erie.
Edward was a lifelong member of Community Living, worked at Arc Industries, member of Gilmore Lodge Day Program (until he “untired”). He participated in many Special Olympic events. He was also a proud supporting member of the Fort Erie Fire Department. Edward loved fishing and the great North.
WILLIAMS FUNERAL SERVICES (722 Ridge road N., Ridgeway) has been entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, October 4th from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Community Living Fort Erie or the Fort Erie Lafrance Association.
