Obituary of Corinne Lidbetter

LIDBETTER, Corinne Margaret (nee McDonald) – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Corinne Lidbetter in her 88th year on June 21, 2018 at Niagara Falls, ON. Corinne was born October 28, 1930 in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late James McDonald and Blanche Power, being 1 of 9 children. She married Robert Charles Lidbetter, with whom she shared many happy times in their 65 years of marriage. Cherished mom of Deborah (Stuart) Kerman, James (Karyn) Lidbetter, Joanne (Ken Glass) Mackenzie, Dawn (Roman Fabisiak) Bodine and Sharon (Marilyn Meyer) Lidbetter. Predeceased by her 2nd son, Robert Charles Lidbetter Jr. and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Anne (Street) Lidbetter (1982). Dear grandmother to Angela (Jim) Leitch, Lyndsay Kerman, Ryan (Martine) Lidbetter, Kadie (Justin Burnett) Lidbetter, Matthew (Nicole Sindan) Mackenzie, Jessica (Tyler) Boyd and Lauralee (Mike Shaughnessy) Fabisiak. Great grandmother of Emily Leitch, Billy Leitch, Briar Lidbetter, Connor Boyd and Hanley Shaughnessy. The family would like to thank all the doctors entrusted with Corinne’s care, as well as the kind and caring staff at GNGH, Niagara Falls. Cremation has taken place. Private family interment at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Services, Ridgeway, ON. If anyone wishes, donations in memory of Corinne, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
