I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Woehl was a great teacher at our Lady of Grace school. One thing about her that I will never forget is how she taught us to remember how to spell her last name. You use the first letters of this phrase: Who opened every house's lock?
Thanks for the memories.

I will remember Mrs. Woehl as a kind and excellent teacher from her time at SS#10. I was happy to reconnect with her in recent years at Garrison Place. She remembered both me and my mother and was excited to hear what we had been doing. My condolences to her family.

I have such fond memories of my teacher, Mrs. Woehl. She taught me in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 at S.S. #10, and then I was blessed again as she taught me Math in grades 7 and 8 at Bertie Senior. I remember her reading “The Adventures of Miss Picket”, probably to calm us down after recess! Sometimes, on a warm spring day, we would spend the entire afternoon playing baseball! I also fondly recall our field trips to Crystal Beach. I will always be grateful that she inspired me to also become a teacher. I send my sincere condolences to her family.
