Obituary of Carroll Wintemute

WINTEMUTE, Carroll Lena at Millenium Trail Manor in Niagara Falls, Ontario on Monday, March 25th, 2024. Carroll was born in Lackawanna, New York on January 17, 1937 to parents Lorena 'Rena' (Stone) Coyne and Roger Colburn. Carroll was the beloved wife of the late Robert, with whom she is joyfully reunited. Much loved mother of the late William (Christine), Robert, Brian, Bruce (Wendy), and Albert (Karen). Dear grandmother of Crystal (Charles), Rachael (Tom), Roy (Tracy), Nicole (Mike), Natalie (Greg), Logan, Brieanna, Caleb, Cassandra, Rebecca, Nathaniel, and Heidi along with many great-grandchildren. Carroll was very affectionately known by her family and many as 'Winnie.'  She worked for many years at Rose Seaton Public School as a lunch time supervisor and Stevensville Public School in custodial. She was a humble servant who counted others more significant than herself. She did not look to her own interests, but always to the interests of others. Carroll loved the church, reading her Bible, crossword puzzles, gardening, baking, and most importantly her grandkids. 

There will be a Visitation on Thursday April 4th from 6-8pm at Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N., Ridgeway. A private graveside service will be held on Friday April 5th at McAffee Cemetery in Fort Erie, Ontario, where she will be laid to rest along side her beloved husband.
