Obituary of David Eric Gerow

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of David Eric Gerow Jr. on November 16, 2025, at the age of 43. David left this world quietly in his sleep, and though his departure came far too soon, we are comforted knowing he is now at peace.

David is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Carolanne, who was the light of his life and held a most cherished place in his heart. He will be deeply missed by his devoted mother, Gail Gerow, and his brothers Chris (Michelle), Ronald (Lisa), close friends Dan and Becky, and "sister" Jennifer (Jack) who had that special bond, and Eric (Kathleen). His nephews Brenden and Charles shared a special bond with him. He will also be fondly remembered by dear friends with whom he shared a close and loving friendship.

David leaves behind his cherished Aunt Barbara and Gord, along with his beloved cousins, each of whom shared a unique connection with him - one built on love, laughter, and countless memories. He was predeceased by his father and grandparents, who surely welcomed him home.

Known for his warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty, David was a true friend to many. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether through his laughter, his words of wisdom, or his gentle presence, David made an impact that cannot be measured.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Hope Centre in Welland or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 230.

Rest easy, David. You will be missed beyond words and loved beyond measure.
