It is with deep sadness that the family of George Albert Schaubel announces his peaceful passing, surrounded by his family on Monday July 7, 2025 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Beloved husband of Eileen Schaubel (née Heximer) for 62 years. Loving father of Andrew (Jessica), Joel (Jennifer), and Maria (Dwayne). Cherished grandfather of Austin, Aileen, Jonathan, and Jason. George was a devoted family man whose quiet strength and steady love formed the heart of his home.

George found joy in life’s simple pleasures - a good meal, a Blue Jays game, a hockey score, and time spent with his family. George will be remembered for his gentle presence, his enduring love, and the quiet legacy he leaves behind in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family service was held in accordance with his wishes. Williams Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.

Donations in George’s memory may be made to the Recreational Fund at Millennium Trail Manor, whose care and compassion were deeply appreciated, or, the family invites friends and loved ones to honour George’s memory through acts of kindness.
