Obituary of Conrad Stephen Pierroz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Conrad Stephen Pierroz, surrounded by loved ones at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday June 10, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Joanne (nee Coopman). Caring brother of Anthony (Norma) Pierroz, Barbara (Tom) Matthews, Mary (Greg) Doyle and Daniel (Anna) Pierroz. Cherished stepfather to Dave (Janice) Sherk, Jim (Dawn) Sherk, Julie O'Donnell, Larry (Linda) Sherk and Ken MacSweyn. To be missed by many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Darren. Predeceased by his parents Etienne and Rosina (Schaffer) Pierroz, siblings Eugene Pierroz and Margaret Fitchie, and stepchildren Jennifer MacSweyn and Brad O'Donnell. Conrad was the definition of a hard-working man. From his days on the family farm in Cayuga to his career at Stelco, he thrived on keeping busy. Conrad was a man of strong faith who was always there to help others, expecting nothing in return. His kind heart and gentle ways will be deeply missed, as well as his loving hugs. Special thanks to the staff at GNGH ER, The Willows Retirement and Margaret for their care of Con. Those who wish to express their condolences may attend visitation at Williams Funeral Services in Ridgeway on Tuesday June 17 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Mass at St. George's Catholic Church in Crystal Beach will take place on Wednesday June 18 at 11 am. A private rite of committal will follow with family at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, and would be appreciated by his family.
