In Loving Memory of Nancy Anne Winger (née Hoak)

Aged 91 Years

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Anne Winger (Hoak), who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 91.

Nancy was born on February 15, 1934, and was predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth Winger. Together, they built a life grounded in love and family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Ruth Ammer (David), Lori McCombs (Dave), Karen Rush (Serge), Norma Crown (Philip), Kenny Winger (the late Kristin), and Francis Winger (Nancy). Nancy was a proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and a devoted great-grandmother to 6 great-granddaughters.

Nancy found joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing cards, enjoying bingo, and watching professional wrestling. Her warmth, humour, and spirited personality brought joy to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd N, Ridgeway. 
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM in the Williams Chapel with interment to follow at Bertie Brethren in Christ Cemetery. Reception will be held at Faith Reformed Church at 3605 Black Creek Dr following the interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Nancy’s memory.
