Obituary of Robert Rutherford Prior

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the loss of a wonderful man. In his 57th year, Rob Prior suddenly passed away on Monday May 12, 2025.

Rob was born and raised in Port Colborne, where he developed a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. He loved traveling, fishing, and gardening, and he had a special passion for tinkering around on the farm. Above all, Rob cherished spending quality time with his family and friends, always making them a top priority.

He leaves behind his children Suzy, Trish, Tasha, Porsha, Rosie, Robert and Patrick, his mother Elsie, and his sister Elsie (Teddy). 

Much loved grandfather to Mikey, Rae, Patience, Olivia, Bella, Mya, Sophia, Kristopher, Makenna, and Carter. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Well loved by many friends. Predeceased by his father Robert Prior. 

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to visitation at Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road N. in Ridgeway on Thursday May 15th from 6 to 9 pm. A private rite of committal will happen at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, and would be appreciated by his family.
