Obituary of Alyson Marie-Wynne Grant

Alyson Marie-Wynne Grant 

Passed on May 11th, 2025 after her valiant fight with cancer at home in her mother's arms. 

Cherished beautiful daughter of Clayton and Khrysta Grant. 

Loving little sister of her twin brothers Karson and Hudson. 

Precious granddaughter to MeMe and Gampy (Jim & Kym Calway) and Grandma and Grandpa (Steve & Judy Grant).

Great granddaughter to James and Barb Grant. 

Wonderful niece to Ryan Kavanagh, Ben (Kathryn) Grant and Nickie (Peter) Ghattas. 

Great niece and sweet cousin to many from Tillsonburg, Florida, Nova Scotia, Toronto, Keswick, Kitchener and many other places in Australia, Canada and the US. 

Alyson’s favourite times were birthday parties with her little cousins, going to church, and her brothers baseball games. She packed in so much life in her 6 years, and touched many hearts. 

The family would like to send heartfelt thanks to Alyson’s team of nurses and doctors at McMaster Children’s Oncology Unit, Ronald McDonald House Hamilton, Qola Care, Palliative MacMaster Dr. Greg and his team, and to Emily our visiting nurse. 

Also, to Lifehouse Community Church for all that you have done and support you have shown to Alyson and her family. 

Alyson's face would light up at the site of sunflowers, daisies and tulips.  Should you wish to honour her memory with a donation, please consider the McMaster Children's Hospital Oncology Unit or Ronald McDonald House, Hamilton.  

A celebration of life will be held at Lifehouse Community Church (NCC), 2619 Niagara River Parkway on Sunday June 8th, 2025 from 3 to 5 pm.
