Obituary of Jeffrey Mark Plato

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffery Mark Plato, after a hard-fought battle with Leukaemia. Jeff will be remembered for his love of nature, music fine food and wine.

He had an adventurous spirit, a kind heart, and a generous soul that touched the lives of many.

He will be forever missed and dearly loved by his wife, Liane Kinsman; his brother, David (Raquel) Plato; and his cherished nephews, Aidan and Leland Plato. Jeff’s memory will also be held close by his aunt, Linda Kaldi, and his cousins, Chris (Brenda) Alexander and Steve (Donna) Alexander, along with a large extended family and many dear friends who loved him deeply.

He was a beloved son-in-law to Rose and Jim McDermott and a caring brother-in-law to Natalie De Melo, Trisha Hanrahan, and Dorothy Beam, as well as a fun and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Beverly Plato; his grandparents, Arthur and Doris Plato and Joseph and Ethel Bews; and his uncle, Joe Kaldi.

Jeff’s warmth, laughter, and love of life will remain in our hearts forever. Williams Funeral Service have been entrusted with arrangements.  Jeff's family will be honoring his memory in a private gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a nature conservation or music-related charity in his name, celebrating the things he loved most, or The Canadian Cancer Society.

Rest in peace, Jeff. You will always be loved and cherished.
