1929-2025

With sadness, we announce the passing of Audrey Isobel Dilks on March 10, 2025 in Orillia. Audrey is reunited with her beloved husband Herbert (Herbie) (predeceased 1996). She is survived by sons Craig (Cindy) and Stephen (Janice); grandchildren Leanne (Alvin), Simon (Kirsten), Matthew, Jeremy (Jennifer), Angela (Derek), and Laura; and great-grandchildren Laila, Horatio, Claire, Tye, and Ronan. Predeceased by sisters Margaret and Mary and survived by sister Jean. Audrey will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Audrey was born in Hamilton and spent her childhood with her family in Scotland. Returning to Hamilton after the war she met Herbie, the love of her life. They settled in Fort Erie and raised their family.

Audrey was a gifted seamstress, involved with the United Church, volunteered with the hospital women’s auxiliary, and was an active member of the local Y. She cherished her time with family and was always up for an adventure.
